New Quiet Book

When Hayley was little Grandma E, made her a quiet book. She enjoyed it and has had it in her room ever since. She's now 11. :o Well we finally handed it down to Daelyn and she loves it! It goes everywhere with her and she likes to sit and play all the activities. She can't braid the hair yet or tie the laces of course but the face parts go on and off as well as the clothes go on and off the clothes line. Her counting has come along way now as we can count all ten of the train wheels. :) We've misplaced the baby lady bug but hopefully with a little serious hunting we'll find it. These pics are from the first night she had it, she sat there for a while just exploring all the pages.

So, "thank you" to Grandma for the Quiet book!

And "thank you" to Auntie Joyce for the slippers from Africa. As you can see, she fits them now and is wearing them almost every day! :o)

That's right we're moving! This morning we got the official form to say that Scott was awarded the IBET position in Boissevain. We're not sure if we're going to live there or in Killarney but I suppose that will depend some on the house hunting trip. We are going to take a week in early November to do that, as until then the guys at work are one short until the end of Oct. and for two weeks in that time, two short. Where there is only 5 to begin with, that makes a difference. LOL Hopefully we'll be able to find something we like and available early, but if we have to wait until January for possetion that's fine to. We plan on being there for a while so we would love to find something that will suit us long term.

Forgive me if you're close family or friend and you didn't get an email or phone call before seeing this. I tried my best, but am to excited not to post it here. :)

HIGH SPEED HERE WE COME!!!!!

Finally, I figured out how to do this. My site was looking pretty lackluster and I wanted to personalize it a little more. I also learned, in all this, that I need to backup my blog template before making any more big changes. Big trouble if you don't. :( I found an online Blogger Help Forum and I was able to take what they gave for directions and figure it out. My next challenge is putting on the background paper and changing the color of the post headers. All in good time, and for now I'll bask in my accomplishment of the day.

A big thanks to Rebecca for putting up with all my questions and for helping me fix my mistakes. :) I used Rebecca's designs for my banner as well, the background, binder clips, chipboard alpha, flower, and diamonds were all made by her. I just assembled them. Thanks Girl!!! If you like her stuff make sure you check out her blog, she just might have some freebies still hanging around.

Oh ya and I haven't forgotten I was tagged. I'll get on that. :o)
