Some of you maybe have seen this before and maybe it's old news, but I think it's pretty good. I saw this guy on Ellen and he did a shortened version. This is the long one but hang in there, it's funny.

OK this is way to funny!
I'm on the phone with the Govt, because I have not received my Child Card Benifits since I submitted my change of address in early Jan. She looks me up and I tell her my new one, She says, "not in the system", I tell her my previous one, "not in the system" I tell her the one before that, "no not there either" Then she asks me who my employer was in 2004, so I tell her. Then she says she has us at our current box number in MORRIS??????? I said, "No we've never lived in Morris" So basically it was FUBR and the mail and checks they've sent me we returned. NO KIDDING! So anyway, she's sending out my two checks for Jan and Feb and we sent it up for direct deposit from now on. Duh!!!
Blogger sucks again...
So I've been trying to post now for a couple of days but blogger won't let me upload any pictures. :( Oh well...
So I got my Clippers the other day. I was thinking that I should phone the store to see if they got mine back yet and low and behold there is a parcel for me at the postoffice! Obviously they got mine and sent the new ones already. It's obvious now how used the other ones were. This new set had instructions and they were still in the plastic wrap, and they came with razer lubricant. The other ones didn't. So now the daunting task of actually doing this for the first time. Maybe on the weekend if Scott will help me. I don't think Mattie will stay for me and I don't have a groomers noose yet as the standard clamp size is 5/8" and our table is 1.5" and those clamps are hard to find.
Not feeling to well today, the stomach is a little off but hopefully that'll pass soon as we're having company tonight. Scott's best friend and his new girlfriend are coming out for a visit.

Spring is Here!
Well I must say, this spring has probaby been the best one for me yet. For some reason I feel more energized and rejuvinated than most springs. It probably has something to do with the new clean house that we have and wanting to keep everything clean. I could clean the bathroom sink faucet 10 times a day if I wanted because for some reason I want it spotless. We've been going outside every evening for walks enjoying the fresh air, excersice, and family time together. It's been wonderful having Scott on a 9-5 type of work schedule, where we all know what to expect in the day.
I woke up this morning and went to go shower and I saw these two out my bathroom window. I ran to get the camera and took these pics, although not great through the dirty outside window and screen.

I hear it's supposed to get cold again, but lets hope not!

Bye Bye A-town!
I realized I haven't posted any LO's in a while so I thought I would share this one with you. I did this for a challenge at ES to scrap about something sad. Now don't get me wrong, leaving A-town was far from sad, but leaving the friends was. Scott always wanted to take a picture of the Amaranth sign in the review mirror of our car as we left A-town for the last time. So when I was leaving the day the packers where there I stopped and tried to get my shot. Quikly realizing it wasn't going to work I figured out a way to "make" it work. SO in actuality this picture is taken from three different pictures. One of the road, the other of the rearview mirror, and the third is of the A-town sign. I put it all together and this is the picture I got. Pretty neat hey?

Thank you for the great weekend!
Thanks for the great party and sleep over J,J&K!!! We really enjoyed the trip out and the party was wonderful. The girls played well together, for the most part, LOL, and it was great for them to learn about sharing. ;) We really must plan a get together in K-Town this summer and hit the beach. Daelyn talked about going to the beach all the way home! LOL When we got home we tried to put Daelyn's new rocking chair together (thanks again, J,J&K) and found one of the cross pieces missing. :( Thankfully there was an email address on the instructions, so we sent him a note asking for a new piece. Daelyn was so sad she couldn't sit in her new rocking chair.
I was really excited this afternoon as I bought my first set of Dog Grooming Clippers/sheers. I've decided to try to do Mattie's haircuts myself. If I want to go anywhere with this I need to start at home. I asked to see a set of clippers that were locked up and the guy went to the front, then came back and said, "actually I had one at the front, here ya go." Well I didn't open them up of course, just read the box to check out what all was included. DUH! Then after Daelyn went to bed and the suitcase was unpacked I sat down to admire my new purchase. I opened it up to find it covered in white kinky dog hair! OMG!!! And the razer part of it was caked with dirt! There is no way I'm using a used razer that somebody either found fault with or sent back after doing their own dog. I'm phoning the store tomorrow and sending it back COD. I'm so pissed!

Toot Toot for me :) and a new product!
My LO of Hannah got featured in the goDigitalScrapbooking.com Newsletter this month. :)Yipee!!
Ok I keep hearing about this ACDSee program around the scrapping world and wondered what it was. So I clicked on an add and downloaded the trial version. IT'S AMAZING! If you have alot of photos or are a digiscrapper and have alot of PNG and JPG files you will love this. It is so easy to view and organanize your files, moving them around or cleaning them up! There is some time needed to cataloge things, so I'm not sure about that but I'll see how my trial goes. It's only a week so there's not alot of time to try out all it's features, but so far I really like it. This might be something to ask for come birthday time! ;)

blah blah, blah, It's Tuesday. What to say about Tuesday?
Not much going on today. The Kitchen people are here again for the final touch ups on the cupboards. They had to put on one of the cabinet doors, because the original was the wrong size, as well as put filler strips beside the dishwasher, a chair rail behind the island, and replace the backing on the island. It wasn't quite the right color and kind of looked like finished plywood. So after this the kitchen should be complete!!!
I got paint for the entry way today so we'll be able to prime it and paint it this week. The color is called Tiramasu, and it's kind of a light chocolaty color. Just a bit darker than the kitchen. Then we'll get the closet doors up and it'll be done to! I filled some more holes in the trim this morning and cleaned some of the window screens out. Next time we'll have to remember to remove those before mudding and sanding. Not like there will be a next time. LOL
We've decided we're doing the kitchen in a Coffee theme. I found a great hand towel at walmart that works wonderfully, and I've got my eye on some prints on ebay that will be good on the wall opposite the table.

Just ramblings...
Well our contractor has been working hard this week to get everything done by the weekend and he just might do it. He's got a buddy coming tomorrow to help put the closet doors in and then the trim. After we paint the entry way and put the trim up we'll be all done! Until something else comes up...
So I'm off to the funeral tomorrow morning then staying with my friend for the night. Turns out she was in an accident herself today, but she's ok thankfully. Scary stuff in light of last weeks events. I think we're all still pretty stunned. Since Brent was a firefighter and medic there will be alot of people at the funeral so my friends are saving me a seat.
I did a new LO yesterday and think it turned out pretty well. It took me forever. Not that I was constantly working at it but a little here and there through out the day. My cousins little girl again. :)

This is Rebecca Gold's And I Adore You available at goDigitalscrapbooking.com
And I also used a bunch of stitches from Claudia Campbell available at Elemental Scraps

An Amazing Photo

I stumbled across this woman's blog Tia Bennett and was so touched by her photos. First of all her sister's husband is in the US military and has been deployed for a years service in Afganistan. This picture was one of just a few that she took as the family was saying goodbye. I couldn't do it...
Shout out to Big Brother!
No not you Brian, or the TV show. You know who you are and I think it's funny. Have fun with your searching! :)

Almost done! And a sad sad story...
Yes we are almost done our house renos! I'm back at home and the living room and two bedrooms are almost complete. The shelves in the closet and the closet doors aren't finished but that can come later. The point is we can live upstairs in some sence of order again! I can emagine how lonely Scott must've been these two weeks with only the odd late working carpenter and plumber to chat with. Daelyn's still sick with her cold and seems to have a nasty cough so hopefully that won't develop into anything more serious. The fever she had hasn't come back so I emagine that bug has passed. Sorry Lyn, Daelyn was sick Sunday and Monday with a fever and spent most of those days either cuddled up with mom or grandma or slept. She hasn't been much fun this last week, but I don't know if she's not feeling well or if it's the fact that she's now 2! LOL
So on my way home yesterday I got some sad news. Because of this storm we had there were many accident in the last few days. One of which was a car with two people that hit a semi, and the people were from Altona,(where we used to live) 33 and 40 years old. Scott phoned a friend that's there and we found out it was someone that I used to work with and his fiance! They don't really know what happened, but it seems as though on their way to work in another town, they lost control and swirved passenger side first into the semi. So I'm hoping to attend the funeral sometime next week, just not sure when. It's just sad to think he's not around anymore, and his son has lost his father. :( Miss you Brent!
