House Pics!!!

My little home town came through for me today and had a USB cord that fit my camera! Yaaaa!!!! So I guess IF I find my old cord I'll have a spare. So I guess I better show these pics of the kitchen now that I can. Upon looking at these they look kinda dark, darker then it really was so bare that in mind. I took them later in the afternoon as well so.... I guess to see the real look of the kitchen you'll just have to come visit! :)



So there is one cupboard door yet to go on, and we brought the stove up already.

And here are the bathroom cabinets as well. I LOVE them and I have so much room now!!!

Not very happy!

OK So I thought I left my USB cord for my camera here at moms, and now that I'm here I can't find it! So did I just not look hard enough at home assuming it would be here? Or is it really gone. Argh! I've finally got pics to share and can't get them off my camera. lol I think tomorrow I may go uptown and see if I can find a replacement cord. If my memory card wasn't such a wierd one I could just use my computers card reader or my printers card reader, but it doesn't fit either.

Anyway the house looks nice and you'll just have to trust me for now. LOL

Paint, Paint, and more Paint...

That's what's been happening around here for the last week. I can't believe that Scott's painted almost this whole house himself. He's done an amazing job to! I'm doing the trim of the front window as it's wood right now and needs to be painted white, as well as the living room closet. That's a nasty chore but a small job in comparison to what Scott's been doing. Right now he's working on the bedrooms.

Looks like more entry way tile prep tomorrow morning, and then the tile and carpet go in on Monday and Tuesday. Our closet in the entry isn't finished yet but that can be done afterwards I guess. It looks like Me and the kids can come home for good on Wednesday!!!!! I had taken pics but I left my USB cord at moms (I think) so I can't upload them on to the computer. My card reader in my computer won't take my particular card either. LOL Oh well...

I'm on a break waiting for the roller and Scott told me to go update my blog. Apparently he likes reading what I have to say even though I'm right here! hehe

My favourite part of the house right now is the kitchen cupboards and the counter. I have so much space, I may have to go grocery shopping! ;) Scott says his favourite part is the textured ceiling, and I'd have to say he's pretty taken with the ceramic tile as well.

Grandma Lyn, I bet Daelyn will love the baby calves! I hope you took some pics. :)

Happy 2nd Birthday Daelyn!

That's right my baby is 2. Oh how time flies when you're having fun. I wish we could be home and planning a party for this weekend but that will have to wait. It's fun this morning teaching Daelyn to say "I'm 2" when asked how old she is. She's catching on, but still slips up. I bought her one of those little cow flash lights that moos and gave it to her in a gift bag this morning but for some reason she's scared of it and won't even take it out of the bag. We've showed her what it is and she still won't pull it out. So there is sits, in the bag, waiting to be played with. Silly Girl! Oh well...

So our bathroom is almost done now, we're just waiting for Bathfitters to come. Scott told me they were to come last so I gave them lots of time and booked them for March 5th. Now that everything else is done (in that room) that's what we're waiting on. We can still use the bathroom, so that's ok, but if we could've got them in earlier we could've had the party on the 6th. Oh well, "coulda, shoulda, woulda" if I could only see the future!

I say "Oh well" alot don't I? LOL

Why does it have to snow on the day I'm travelling????
