Halloween dance pic and a Hair Cut!

Well gee, I haven't posted in a while..... I guess that means I've either been too busy lately or not at all and had nothing to say.

Hayley had her first school dance here with us and let's just say it was very exciting! Scott wanted to chaperone but when he called they had enough parents this time, he was sad but she was pretty happy about it. LOL She had a friend come over after school for supper and then they left from here. She decided this year to dress up like Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist (I know... who's that?) and her friend went as an angel. Oh the memories!!! Last weekend before Nephew Adams' birthday party I realized it was time for Daelyn to get a hair cut. I was going to grow her bangs out but it just wan't working. Maybe if I held out longer it would've been okay but when Scott mentioned it was getting a little long I thought I'd better just get it done. (The ladies here are so nice, bang cuts are free!) I'm so glad I did she looks so cute and even a little older. :(  I know it looks crooked but it isn't, it's just the way it's lying here.

Yaaaaaaa Words can't express how exciting this is for us to have these all done. We've been working on getting them done since April, and we've had lost birth certificates, forms signed improperly and four trips to the city but we did it! All four of them came back and we're ready to HOLIDAY!

We had a great Thanksgiving this weekend and this week is now flying by! All day I was thinking it is Tuesday and I realized it's Wednesday and I have to make supper early, so I can go to Pilates. Yikes!

Daelyn still has a cold and isn't feeling well. She's struggling to have a nap right now and keeps crying, You all know that's not like her.

We went to our first "Nobody's Perfect" class and it was good. The parents got to talk about parenting and the older kids got to go off and play. Daelyn was fine and enjoyed playing with the playdoh and coloring with the other kids.

Ahhhhh... she's silent.... for now.

New friend and new LO's

So now that the weather is actually decent, we try to get out walking every day. Sometimes it's just Daelyn and I during the early afternoon, most times it's all of us in the early evening. Today, being Survivor Thursday, I decided to take Daelyn out after lunch. We played outside in the leaves for a while and made some ghosties to hang in the trees (pics to come later). Our neighbors dog, who is very friendly came over as she usually does for a play as well. She loves playing fetch with balls or frisbees or whatever you can find. So after some play time we got the stroller out and started on our journey. Well Jesse must have thought it was a nice day for a walk to and she came with us the whole way. She's never tied up and just wanders around visiting or sits on her deck during the day. Super nice dog, don't you think?



Okay here are some more LO's I did this past week. I'm not sure when but anyway...

This one, was a fun one I threw together for a challenge at ES. It was a lyrical challenge to use the theme song from Growing Pains. I thought this was kinda cute, she just got up from a nap and wasn't very happy... unusual for her. (notice, it's from last year!)

And here's one I did of Nephew Adam's first Halloween. I've been wanting to scrap this.... well since last Hallween and now that all the new Halloween kits are out I jumped at it! It's for a challenge to use White Space. Isn't he just the cutest? Can't wait to see what this years costume is!
