Well this will be the 5th day of potty training and it is getting better. We've now learned some of her "I need to go" dances and actions and are reacting on those. As well as going from just a dribble in the potty, then in the pants to an actual pee in the potty. It still takes some encourangement and gentle hands to help her sit long enough to finish but we're getting there. I couldn't figure out why she'd pee 5 minutes after going in the potty, and was changing her clothes three or four times a day! People asked me if I liked all the laundry a baby made, but that was nothing on this! She only had three pairs of training underwear I bought a while ago in case she decided to do this, and they aren't lasting long. We had to go to the Bargain shop to see what they had and luckily Daelyn knows who Curious George is! She doesn't want to pee on him. LOL They're not as nice as the thicker absorbant ones but they work! She's also getting faster to, the first time was almost an hour sitting there waiting, then it took playing a DVD for entertainment (mommy got sick of reading the same books over and over) and now she can go almost as soon as you put her down. WooHoo!!!
Another one of my online buddies had their baby recently and we as a group got together to make her a shower gift. The last one we did was the quilt that I showed you. This one was done by one of the girls in Austrailia who is into graphic arts, photography and advertising etc, and she put togther a little journal. She asked each of us to send her a picture using the theme, "Kiss" preferably with us and our 2 year old (which is how we are friends) as well as a hand writen note to our friend. She posted pics of the finished product and it's absolutely amazing. Check it out!
