Hayley had her first piano recital on Sunday. She wasn't even nervous and played wonderfully. Check her out!
Most of you on my facebook already have noticed we had a bird problem this week. It started Friday evening with a Robin trying to get into our bedroom window. It was funny... we laughed. Then Saturday morning at 6 am.... not so funny! We realized we had a problem when he kept coming back every day at dusk and dawn for three days in a row! Here's a little video:
Here's the update on the bird situation:
Note: I did end up moving the moth balls closer to the window as it was windy and maybe taking the smell away. Scott ended up putting our mesh wire on a frame like Daelyn's so we'll see tomorrow if that will keep him away from the glass better.
We ended up buying some Bird Fence which is like mesh wire to put over our window. It worked and kept the bird from banging our window, but moved to the next window which is Daelyn's and that's not so good at 6 am either! So we did her window up as well. Scott made it on a removable frame so we can take it down when it's gone and if perchance comes back next spring we'll be ready. I hope that won't be the case.
